About
About Airline Ace
Airline Ace explains how airline loyalty programs actually work: alliances and partners, elite status, award pricing, lounges and premium-cabin seats. It’s for flyers choosing a home program, frequent travellers deciding whether status is worth the effort, and anyone who wants to understand a program before committing to it.
What we focus on
Program guides quote the rules that matter, link to the program’s own pages and say when the rules were last checked. When we compare programs, we publish the method first and judge them by the reader’s own flying pattern, not by an overall winner.
Our editor flies regularly between the US and the UK, often in business class, and some guides draw on that experience. When they do, they say so.
What we don’t do
- We don’t publish “best program” rankings without a stated method.
- We don’t present award prices as promises. Prices and availability change constantly; examples are dated.
- We don’t use airline logos or branded images.
- We don’t invent experiences or reviews.
